When it comes to classic spaghetti, you need quality pasta, a good sauce, and good, chunky, meatballs. When I went plant-based, I couldn’t see how I could ever make spaghetti again but thanks to Earth Grown Vegan Meatballs from Aldi, I can! With these 3 ingredients, I will show you how to make this delicious dish!
Ingredient 1 of Spaghetti: Pasta
For this recipe, I used a classic whole wheat spaghetti noodle from Aldi that is also non-GMO and organic. If you need gluten-free noodles and still want the spaghetti spiral look, I would recommend black bean pasta, also at Aldi or you can find it here.
Ingredient 2 of Spaghetti: Sauce
I love this organic, classic, marinara sauce from Aldi because there’s no oil or sugar in it. A whole food plant-based diet includes no meat, dairy, oil, sugar, or processed foods. To read why I made the change, click here. Of course, you can use any pasta sauce. When I can’t make it to Aldi, I get this brand.

Ingredient 3 of Spaghetti: Meatballs
Not all vegan meatballs are created equal. Many have a ton of preservatives and fillers in them which makes them just as bad as consuming meat so I’m very picky with any processed foods I try but these Earth Grown brand meatballs made the cut! You could also make your own meatless meatballs using brown rice and lentils but that will be for another blog post 😉
Summary
In conclusion, making budget-friendly vegan spaghetti is super easy using the classic 3 ingredients: sauce, pasta, and meatballs, and getting them at Aldi makes it super affordable! Cook your pasta, heat up the meatballs, add the sauce, and dinner is served! Leave me a comment with your favorite products or how you make spaghetti so until, next time, I’ll see you in the kitchen!
