As the second oldest of ten children, I’ve been cooking for a long time! My Mother would set me up on the counter and would explain everything she was doing. I loved seeing delicious meals come together before my eyes! We also planted 3 gardens (10 kids eat a lot haha!) so much of our food we saw from seed to the table and I loved every step of the process! Peek over my shoulder as I show you how to eat a whole food plant-based lifestyle and let’s learn together!
When I’m not blogging or cooking, you can find me chasing my three children around, working in my garden, or visiting with family! I am blessed with a 5-year-old and 2-year-old daughter and my sweet baby boy of 6 months! My husband Ben is behind the scenes helping to edit and research and of course, taste test ๐ He’s an amazing cook as well and you can find some of his cheat meals on our site! Empowering women to live life to the fullest is another passion of mine so you can find my thoughts on self care here as well!

These are a few of my favorite things…
- My kids! They love to help out in the kitchen and are wonderful guinea pigs! I never knew how much my heart could love!
- My husband! He proudly served his country as a US Marine during Operation Iraqi Freedom and is my hero! He’s an amazing chef, IT guru, beloved Papa and is the peanut butter to my jelly!
- Creamy Cashew Alfredo Sauce! I love all my recipes but this creation has been my most favorite and most used condiment since becoming whole food plant based!
- Travel! I’ve been blessed to have been to 37 states and 3 countries and I can’t wait to go to many more places and eat local food!
