What is Tahini?
Tahini is simply ground-up sesame seeds and is used in many savory Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes. It has gained popularity in recent years in baking and is added to cookies or bread. I like to use it as a substitute for peanut butter as my daughter is allergic to peanuts. *(Some people still react to sesame seeds so be sure to check with your doctor before trying tahini).
Ingredients for my Savory Tahini Sauce

- Tahini (oil-free which I get here)
